Kraska Receives Praxis Award from ASC Division of Critical Criminology

The Division of Critical Criminology, which is a part of the American Society of Criminology, has awarded Dr. Pete Kraska the DCC Praxis Award

From the ASC Division on Critical Criminology website, “The DCC Praxis Award recognizes an individual whose professional accomplishments have increased the quality of justice for groups that have experienced class, ethnic, gender, racial and sexual disparities in policing and punishment. The DCC Praxis Award honors unique achievements in activism, commitment, persuasion, scholarship, service and teaching in areas that have made a significant impact on the quality of justice for underserved, underrepresented, and otherwise marginalized populations.”

Dr. Kraska will be presented with the award at the upcoming American Society of Criminology DCC Social, which will take place at the 2016 meeting November 16-19 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
